Blow this pic up to full size and read the tag on the seat :(

Whoot there it is!

Kind of crappy picture, and by now we have all seen the new Surly X-tra cycle, but if you look to the right you can see the new color for the 2007 Cross Check. I have been working up a plan for a while that involves taking all the 10 spd Dura Ace, and mango King wheelset off the Cannondale and making an ultra pimp cross/ gravel...maybe a rack? type bike. I don't have as much fun on my road bike and if I really got a road jones I could always put skinnies on the cross bike. I bought the Jake the Snake when I thought the hurricane took all my other bikes just to have a bike and have missed havin' a cross bike ever since. I really like surly for what they do good bike good price good people, and rumor has it that there is a shop here in town that is one of the top 25 Surly dealerships on the planet:) Anyhow stoked on the color and the prospect of a winter time bike makin' project. Now if those chodes @ Trek would just get me my damn school bike frame back I could stop walkin' everywhere.

Looks like everything is coming up Millhouse:)

Holly and I got up and rode out to the hut near 148th st. The weather was perfect and we saw a big ass bull snake. Went over to Brent and Tiff's last night, and Brent has some sweet ass old school drilled out Dura Ace stuff, I think Tony got pics. Oh, we got a
new place over on 22nd and C ,so house warming soon? If you get a chance Pick up one of those Swobo short sleeved wool jerseys from Nate and E to the P...Why you may ask? 'Cause that is the most comfy kick ass jersey ever, for real. That is all.

P.S. WTF is with all the lame graffiti @ the hut? We should give her a revamp, I have had a lot of good fun in that run down little shack and on the front lawn too.

If only my life were so well designed...

Some things are designed to work well, last forever and be highly serviceable. I don't think I am one of them.

Get 'em while they are hot!

Called my favorite hub and headset maker yesterday to inquire about the Pretty and Strong program for 2006.
Turns out that they already have sets in stock, they wanted to have product b4 they launched the program which is a refreshing change from some other companies. Anyway I got Holly a set of hubs and the headset with spacer kit and it should be in by Friday. Project girl Niner is almost complete.
